What do you get when a group of energetic, unique, fun-loving, passionate, non-conventional, young professionals who love to sing, come together for a divinely ordained purpose?  You get an entity called ONE MESSAGE!  

 

It’s actually quite interesting that they would call themselves ONE MESSAGE when in reality, they have multiple messages that they consistently share with people from all walks of life who just want to hear something positive amidst the negativity that seems to prevalent today.  

 

We all experience ups and downs, triumphs and struggles, joy and hurt, excitement and disappointment. With messages of love, hope, faith, and encouragement, ONE MESSAGE tries to use music to “speak” to the situations that regular people experience on a daily basis. 

 

In fact, they have been sharing these “messages” since their inception in 1998 and they have no intention of stopping anytime soon.  Whether they are performing at a concert, a television appearance, a wedding, a seminar, a block party, a conference, a homeless shelter, on another artist’s project or on their own project (which drops later this year), ONE MESSAGE uses every opportunity to inspire and uplift.

 

“People just need to know that God will still on their side no matter what,” says Horace Buddoo, OM’s founder.  “For the people who are already happy and living their lives to the fullest, our music will serve to remind them to be grateful for their blessings and thankful to God who is the true source of their joy.  For those going through struggles, our music will serve to remind them that their faith in God can and will get them through anything and everything.” 

 

ONE MESSAGE is comprised of individuals with diverse backgrounds and vocal styles, but they all come together to create a neo-progressive inspirational flavor that can be compared to very few in the music industry and a velveteen sound that will prove to stand the tests of time.  There’s just something different about this group…their music…their style…their lives…it’s just different.
